If not feasible, inform the customer by mail. If feasible, proceed.
Arrange a cross-functional team review to clarify customer requirements.
Prepare the forging drawing in 2D / 3D.
Load calculation, material flow and weight calculation.
Provide quotation to the customer.
Purchase Order received from customer.
Begin preparing the sample submission to customer.
Identify new resource requirements (Man, Material, Machine & Measuring Equipment etc.).
Prepare die design, raw material arrangement & die rough machining.
Send for hardening, complete die final machining and make die assembly.
Forming / Trimming / Piercing / Coining.
Dimensional and grain-flow inspection, followed by normalising / shot blasting.
